for Candid Club 2.0

1. Introduction

Welcome to Candid Club 2.0. By joining, you agree to the terms outlined below. These exist to keep things clear, fair, and legally binding for everyone involved.

2. Membership Details

Membership Term

Candid Club 2.0 is a non-cancellable 12-month commitment. Whether you pay monthly or annually, you are locked in for the full year. There are no cancellations, refunds, or early exits—even if you don't use your sessions or attend workshops.

Monthly Plan: 12 monthly payments of £39.90 (total £478.80)
Annual Plan: One payment of £428.80 (saves you £50)

This commitment ensures we can deliver consistent value, plan workshops with external guests, and build a supportive community—and it protects the business from members booking their shoots and leaving early.

When Your Membership Starts

Your membership officially begins on January 8, 2026. This is when:

  • You'll receive your workshop and brain dump circle dates for the year

  • You can start booking your Candid shoots

  • You'll get access to all member benefits and resources

Payments begin on your signup date, but membership perks commence January 8, 2026.

What Happens After 12 Months

After your 12-month term is complete:

  • Your subscription will automatically end (no need to cancel)

  • We'll reach out with options to renew if you'd like to continue

  • If you don't renew, you'll lose access to member benefits, discounts, and community spaces

Founder Pricing

If you join during our Founder period (December 8 - December 31, 2025), your rate is locked in for life—even if we raise prices in the future. This applies as long as you remain an active member without breaks in payment.

Eligibility

Membership is open to individuals aged 18 and older.

3. What's Included

All Candid Club 2.0 members receive:

  • 2x 60-minute Candid shoots throughout the year (book them whenever you want)

  • 1x extra backdrop colour and 3x free guests at each shoot

  • 500-1000+ professional photos across the year

  • 1x content studio hour (or an extra 35-min Candid shoot)

  • Online workshops with industry experts (e.g., Hannah Walker, Nicole Marguerite Gray, Jess Bruno)

  • Brain dump circles with Aimee and Lily (in person, twice a year)

  • Regular check-ins via IG group

  • Member-only discounts on additional Candid services

Using Your Sessions

  • You have 2x 60-minute shoots to use anytime during your 12-month membership (from January 8, 2026 onwards)

  • 1x content studio hour (or an extra 35-min Candid shoot)

  • Sessions must be booked via the studio calendar

  • Unused sessions do not roll over beyond your membership term

  • Sessions are non-transferable and cannot be gifted or sold

4. Payment Terms

Payment Platform

All payments are processed via Flodesk Checkout (powered by Stripe).

When Payments Start

  • Monthly Plan: Payments begin on your signup date and recur monthly for 12 months

  • Annual Plan: Full payment is due at signup

No Cancellations

Once you've signed up and paid, you are locked in for 12 months. You cannot:

  • Cancel your membership early

  • Pause your membership

  • Get a refund for unused months or sessions

All 12 payments are due, regardless of whether you use your sessions or attend workshops. This structure protects the business and ensures commitment from our members.

Pricing Lock-In

Your membership rate is locked in for the duration of your 12-month term. If you renew after your term ends, pricing may have changed.

Failed Payments (Monthly Plan Only)

If a monthly payment fails:

  • We'll attempt to process it again within 3 days

  • If payment cannot be processed, your membership benefits (including booking privileges) will be suspended until payment is resolved

  • Repeated failed payments may result in membership termination, but all outstanding payments will still be due

Refunds

All payments are non-refundable, including:

  • Unused sessions

  • Workshops you didn't attend

  • Deciding the membership isn't for you

  • Life circumstances that prevent you from participating

Exception: If Candid Studios cannot deliver the core services due to permanent closure or other circumstances that make delivery impossible, we'll work with you on a fair resolution.

5. Workshops and Brain Dump Circles

Workshop Dates

On January 8, 2026, you'll receive:

  • The full schedule of online workshops for the year

  • Brain dump circle dates (in person)

  • Booking instructions

Online Workshops

  • All online workshops will be recorded

  • If you can't attend live, you'll have access to the recording

  • Recordings are for members only and cannot be shared outside the community

Brain Dump Circles (In Person)

  • Brain dump circles happen twice a year in person with Aimee and Lily

  • If you can't attend, we'll provide a written summary of key takeaways and action points

  • These are not recorded to protect the intimate, safe space of the group

Guest Workshop Changes

We'll do our best to deliver workshops with the advertised guests, but lineups are subject to change based on availability. Core workshop topics will remain as promised.

6. Booking, Rescheduling and Cancellations

How to Book

All shoots are booked via our studio calendar. You can book your 2 shoots at any time throughout your 12-month membership.

Rescheduling

  • You may reschedule a session up to 48 hours in advance at no charge

  • Reschedules within 48 hours may be subject to availability

  • No-shows or cancellations within 24 hours result in a forfeited session (no refunds, no rescheduling)

Late Arrivals

If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your session time may be shortened or forfeited depending on studio availability.

7. Content Rights and Usage

Your Content

You receive full rights to all photos from your sessions for personal and professional use.

Marketing Consent

When booking each Candid shoot, you'll be asked: "Can we use your photos for marketing (social media, website, promotional materials)?"

You can answer:

  • Yes - We can share your photos (with credit)

  • No - Your photos stay private

You can change your preference at any time by emailing hello@candidstudios.co.uk.

If you opt in, you grant Candid Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your images for promotional purposes.

8. Community Guidelines and Member Responsibilities

By joining Candid Club, you agree to:

  • Treat the studio, staff, and fellow members with respect

  • Keep your contact details up to date

  • Show up on time for your sessions and workshops

  • Take financial responsibility for any damage caused during your session

  • Not share member-only resources, workshop recordings, or content templates outside the community

9. Candid Studios' Rights

Membership Changes

We may update membership benefits, workshop schedules, or guest lineups with reasonable notice. Your core benefits (2 shoots, workshops, brain dumps) will remain as promised.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate membership immediately in cases of:

  • Misconduct, harassment, or harm to staff or members

  • Repeated no-shows or booking abuse

  • Violation of these terms

Important: Even if we terminate your membership, you are still financially responsible for any remaining payments on your 12-month commitment.

10. Privacy and Data

We only use your data for:

  • Managing your membership

  • Sending you updates, booking reminders, and member-only offers

  • Improving our services

You can opt out of marketing emails at any time. We will never sell your data.

By joining, you consent to receive membership-related communications.

11. Liability

What We're Not Responsible For

Candid Studios is not liable for:

  • Indirect losses (e.g., lost income from missed content opportunities)

  • Circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, technical failures, pandemics, government restrictions, etc.)

  • Personal items lost or stolen during your visit

  • Your inability to attend workshops or use your sessions

Your Responsibility

You're responsible for:

  • Your own safety during studio sessions

  • Any damages you cause to studio property

  • Ensuring your own equipment (if brought) is insured

  • Managing your own schedule to use your sessions and attend workshops

12. Dispute Resolution

If you have any concerns, please send them in writing to hello@candidstudios.co.uk. We'll always try to resolve issues fairly and collaboratively before escalating.

This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By joining Candid Club 2.0 and completing payment, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

You understand that:

  • This is a non-cancellable 12-month commitment

  • All payments are due regardless of usage

  • Refunds are not available for any reason except permanent closure of Candid Studios

  • Your membership begins January 8, 2026

  • You will receive workshop dates and booking access on January 8, 2026
